Our History

The Buckhorn Supper Club was established in 1978 by Joe and Rose Cantafio after they moved to the Beaver Dam area from Chicago.

Throughout the 1980’s and most of the 1990’s, The Buckhorn was a family run restaurant known not only for their delicious steaks and Friday nigh fish fries, but also for their mouth watering BBQ ribs. They prided themselves on a warm and inviting atmosphere where the highest quality food was served to “Friends.” They owned The Buckhorn until 1997.

Under New Management

Recently the restaurant has been bought back by Joe and Rosie’s son, Joe, and his wife, Bobbie Jo, and they renamed the restaurant Cantafio’s Buckhorn Steak House.

Joe and Bobbie Jo are excited to continue the tradition begun in the 70’s by his parents of great food served in a relaxed and friendly environment. Come on by The Buckhorn Steak House and find out why their motto is, “A Stranger But Once, A Friend Forever.”

Ryan's Room

We have a room in the back with five booths dedicated to our beloved son, Ryan, who paid the ultimate sacrifice.  In this room is also a memorial dedicated to other veterans.  Please feel free to bring a picture of your loved one - we would be proud to honor other veterans as well.

As we are a Gold Star Family, we are very proud to feed all veterans for free.
